Maverixx Media is led by friends who found themselves building a company before they ever sat down to define one.
The journey began organically with stories, conversations and productions that gradually grew in scale and ambition. As more work arrived, the founders brought together their different instincts: creative judgement, production execution, business development and operational discipline. What emerged was not simply a production house, but the foundation of a wider media company.
Each founder has a clear area of responsibility, but Maverixx Media does not operate through rigid boundaries. Creative conversations often involve the business team. Production decisions are examined through both financial and creative lenses. Questions about growth, profitability and future direction are discussed collectively. This overlap is central to how Maverixx Media works: responsibilities are defined, but ideas remain shared.
Together, the founders guide Maverixx Media and its divisions - Maverixx Studios, Maverixx Brands, Maverixx Live, Maverixx Talent and Maverixx Works.

Prantik Basu team
Prantik leads business and new opportunities across Maverixx Media. He is often the first point of contact when a project, partnership or potential collaboration enters the company.
His role is to turn conversations into viable opportunities. This includes building relationships with platforms, studios, agencies, brands, producers and other collaborators; understanding what each opportunity requires; and bringing the right people within Maverixx Media into the discussion.
Prantik also helps shape how the company presents itself to the outside world. As Maverixx Media expands beyond films and series into brands, events, talent and production services, he is responsible for opening doors while ensuring that each opportunity makes sense for the company. He works closely with the creative, production and operations teams so that what Maverixx Media promises is something it can execute well.
The Team
Ishani Sengupta
Ishani leads production and execution across Maverixx. She takes projects from plans on paper to functioning productions, bringing together people, schedules, budgets, locations and the many moving parts required to get a story made.
Her role begins well before a shoot and continues until the project is delivered. She works closely with line producers, production teams, technicians, vendors and creative collaborators to ensure that every production is practical, organised and responsive to what the project demands.
With the growth of the organisation, Ishani is also responsible for building its production ecosystem: identifying reliable collaborators, creating repeatable methods of working and ensuring that the company can execute several projects without compromising quality. She is the bridge between creative ambition and what must happen on the ground to realise it.

Abhrajit Sen
Abhra leads the creative side of Maverixx Media, with a particular focus on stories, scripts and ideas in development.
He listens to pitches, reads and evaluates material, participates in story conversations and helps identify which ideas belong within the Maverixx Media universe. His role is not limited to selecting projects; it is also about understanding what a story is trying to become and helping it find the right form, collaborators and audience.
Across films, series, branded entertainment and original development, Abhra helps protect the central creative intent of a project as it moves through commercial and production decisions. He works closely with writers, directors, creators and the other founders to ensure that Maverixx Media remains a company led by curiosity and strong storytelling, not simply by the availability of work.

Shouvik Ganguly
Shouvik oversees the business engine behind Maverixx Media - operations, financial planning, profitability and the systems required for the company to scale.
The role covers both the immediate and the long term: examining project economics, managing cash flow, monitoring company and project P&Ls, allocating capital and ensuring that growth does not come at the expense of financial stability. Every project may be creative in nature, but it must also be properly structured, funded, tracked and closed.
Shouvik is also responsible for turning Maverixx Media from a founder-dependent production company into an organisation capable of running multiple projects and divisions. This means creating operating systems, defining responsibilities, building project-based teams and deciding when the company is ready to invest in new verticals.
Working closely with Prantik on commercial decisions, Ishani on production planning and Abhra on creative development, Shouvik helps connect the company’s ambition with the structure required to sustain it.

At Maverixx Media, ownership and participation is fluid.
A new opportunity may begin with Prantik, move into a creative conversation with Abhra, be translated into an executable production by Ishani and be financially structured by Shouvik. At every stage, the founders remain available to one another, bringing their individual perspectives to the decisions that matter.
The aim is not to create layers between the founders and the work. It is to build a system that allows each founder to contribute where they create the most value, while giving projects and teams enough clarity to move independently.
That combination of friendship, complementary instincts and shared ownership continues to shape Maverixx: four people building one company, with the ambition to create many different ways for stories, talent and ideas to reach the world.
